In the world of OTP, our stories don’t include politics or crime and punishment, but rather food, fun and filming. Here’s the stories our fans read and shared the most this year….
In addition to many casting calls for “Ozark, Instant Family, and The Mule” that went viral, as well as the hype surrounding the grand opening for the first Costco in Cherokee County, here is a recap of our top stories:
- Marietta Square Market finalizes restaurant & retail tenants and is 100% leased.
- Two area Taco Mac franchises converted to Morgan’s Sports Bar & Grill and back again.
- Airborne Canton announces it’s openening in Cherokee County
- Sweet Pete and Farrell’s Ice Cream Shop withdraws its lease from Battery Atlanta
- Woodstock Summer Concert Series 2018 Announced (and, we know who is kicking off the 2019 season too!)
- Roswell Boutique Hotel and mixed use development begins construction.
- The Flatiron on Main Street project proposed for Woodstock. The property is now zoned and the owner, Dotan Zuckerman, is working on leasing and is searching for a chef-driven restaurant that the community wants, so stay tuned for that Scoop!
- Rightsizing Change for Kohl’s Retail Stores
and it’s no surprise to us with the popularity of Netflix’s show “Ozark” that the iconic spot where the show was filmed was our number one story.
