Meet your Scoopers and co-creators of Scoop OTP!
Michelle Weitzel Knapp – The Blonde
(Co-creator on left) Michelle@scoopotp.com
Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, Michelle and her husband Chris moved to Georgia 16 years ago. They chose OTP as it worked best for their three children and lifestyle. Moving 700 miles away from family left her to be very resourceful in looking for activities for the family.
A self-proclaimed Pinterest worshiper, Michelle loves to look for new ideas for decorating, fashion, beauty – you name it. Her passion for the community and networking were cultivated during her time as a local service league President, and later as an outreach coordinator for a local women’s shelter, and currently as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children.
Her “What do I want to be when I grow up?” moment came at a certain monumental birthday, hence Scoop OTP came to life. It was either that, or run a marathon, which everybody already seemed to be doing!
Never wanting to be a follower, Michelle focused on what she already did best: being creative and exploring OTP! When she isn’t running between dance, lacrosse, and other various school events, you might catch her at the gym working off brownies, rushing through the aisles of Target, on in line at Starbucks.
Enjoy the recommendations!
Suzanne Rogoff Taylor – The Brunette

Raised in South Florida, she graduated from the University of Florida with honors in Public Relations and earned a Master’s Degree from University of Central Florida in Public Administration. She was very surprised when her husband’s entrepreneurial spirit landed them in Canton, GA away from family and friends.
Leaving the corporate world behind to raise two children, she became a leader in a direct sales company, President of a local service league, maintained a creative blog for a successful woman’s company, and wrote Suzanne Speaks, a column about women in business for a local magazine for three years.
After a little convincing, she became her husband’s company’s part-time marketing director. Of course, she still wanted to run to the gym (okay, drive there), attend PTA meetings, and attempt to keep up with the wash.
And after turning 40 and trying to figure out what she wanted to be when she grew up, she and her friend Michelle discussed launching a website about their strengths and the stuff they knew: living in suburbia, writing, and networking.
Suzanne is happily married 19 years to a super supportive and loving husband. They have two active teenage children who have her running from one end of OTP to the other for various sporting events. Suzanne is excited to share Scoop OTP as she is Livin’ OTP North and Lovin’ It!
(Editor, or “The One Who Cleans Up Everyone’s Messes”)
Newly graduated with a Writing degree from Savannah College of Art and Design, Alyssa is ready to take on the real world. Or, ready as she’ll ever be at the ripe age of 22. Just as long as it doesn’t involve too much distraction from her favorite activities like sleeping in, taking long walks, drinking beer (or whiskey, she’s only slightly picky), playing soccer now and then, lying on the hammock under the stars, and watching The Walking Dead.
Alyssa works full-time at Beer Connoisseur Magazine in Atlanta, but is otherwise stuck in the suburbs OTP for now. She likes to Scoop out places with good beer (killing two job birds with one stone!), fun outdoor activities, and whatever else there is for twenty-somethings to do OTP.
She enjoys writing, and especially likes editing. But she’s still waiting for that “What do I want to be moment?” to hit. Any day now…
Special thanks to our trusted Scoopers who give us their feedback on OTP places. We write about actual experiences by ourselves or trusted friends.
